American Wax Company was founded in New York City in 1929. During the 1990’s, the second generation family owned business merged with three local manufacturers (Buckingham Wax Company, OSR Cleaning Specialties and Uncle Sam Chemical). In 2003 they added Nationwide Chemical to their family of companies. The senior members of these companies bring their vast experience and knowledge of the industry, to make them the preeminent source of sanitary maintenance chemicals. In 1998, the company changed name to American Cleaning Solutions to reflect the growth and changes in their business. ACS has 65,000 square foot building which enables them to incorporate manufacturing, quality control & product development, graphic design, silk screening and customer service all in one facility. The company combined their multi-generational experience, formulating expertise and the business acumen of five private label manufacturers to become an industry leader of the 21st century.
